Has been a huge fan of Asian Romantic-comedies for many real life years now, after she was first introduced by a good friend to her first drama, called "My girlfriend is a 9-tailed fox".her thoughts/review of this drama was first added to a ramblings blog page called Magical Mistakes which has been an active blog since Nov of 2005. Genre Explainations

The 'Adventure' listed under the Genre's list, is for Action, Intrigue, Mystery, Crime, Thriller, or/and any other plot progression that kind of goes beyond the typical romcom plots.

Also, the 'Tragedy' genre is for tragic deaths, as well as sad, sorry, tearful, horrid, or more then simply implied deaths of character/s in the storyline.

'Historical' genre means a storyline based on a past time period.. Keyword here is 'based'. Just because it might be based off something factual.. doesn't automatically make the whole thing a fact. Lets give creative license some due here.
Or the drama/movie could include a historical or a distant past sequence worth noting.

'Genderbender' is a loose reference to people either cross-dressing, or cross-attitude to their opposite gender. So she dressing as boy, or switched souls acting counter to their own gender, qualify as a genderbender.

'Transformation' means simply, any sort of transformation happens to one of the lead characters other then genderbending. so, swiftly growing from younger to older, or chubby to skinny, human to.. something else (Which may include a 'Fantasy' setting as well), or even personality shifts.

'Horror' Genre is basically anything meant to give you a scare or startle, and often has a supernatural or 'Fantasy" element to it. this may or might not include other Genres as well

Abbreviated Kr = Korean dramas/movies.. Tw = Taiwanese dramas/movies Jp = Japanese dramas/movies.. Ch or HK = Chinese dramas/movies

Questions answered..?

I created this blog as simple amusement really. (I'm a huge drama/movie buff!) and this helps me keep track of what all I have seen. If you found this quick self-indulgent dramafix to be helpful, please leave a comment to let me know. what did you like/dislike about a drama? or suggestions for improvement to the review, perhaps? Enjoy!

I watch dramas and movies online mostly because I lack a Tv to watch them on, All of these dramas can be found somewhere on the net. (I have located many on YouTube, DramaFever, and places such as DramaCrazy and EpDrama.)

I Love Romantic-Comedy mixes the best.. although I have been known to break off into pure adventure or action-styled dramas/movies as well. I just don't give them a star rating.

I know not everyone has the same tastes in what makes a great drama or movie, so have kept my reviews short... what I liked about it (or what I didn't like?), and basically what it was about... hopefully nothing too spoiling, right?

The actors listing under the review, is not so much info on the actors as it is on what other dramas/movies they were in that had been covered by this blog. Many other web-sites have actor details.. I wanted to concentrate more on the dramas themselves, rather then on the actors... even though they are obviously connected through the characters they play.
