Lunch no Joou
Lunch Queen/ Lunch no Joou/ ランチの女王/ The Queen of Lunchtime Cuisine ** (Japanese)
12 episodes
Yuko Takeuchi as Natsumi Mugita
Warm-hearted light comedy/romance. Made me hungry to watch them making all the yummy food. a sad death scene in involved. In spite of all the goings;-on, the ending had no satisfaction really. Fav Scene(s): The grab-n-kiss with a solid kick in follow-up.
Girl agrees to pretend to be an 'eldest brother's' bride to be so he could get in to speak with his family, who run a small western-style cafe. After the 'groom' runs off with the money, the girl tries hard to stay on. Eventually, home is found, truth comes out, runaways return home, and a past is resolved.
